Introducción y objetivos

In recent years, more than half of the completed transactions in Spain have taken place in the energy sector, particularly in renewable generation assets, and energy departments are the largest sectoral practice of law firms. In the near future, this trend will intensify, as technologies with high energy demand, such as AI, the progressive electrification of the economy, and the transition to new forms of production, will make this sector the leading one in the economy.

As a consequence of this prominence, the demand for well-prepared professionals in the energy sector will increase. Among them, and in a prominent position, will be lawyers. Lawyers who will need specialized training that combines a general knowledge of regulated markets with specific preparation in the energy area.

To acquire this training, essential for anyone who wants to become a key player in the legal area of the energy sector, it is necessary to do so with the most outstanding professionals and with a method that allows both an adequate understanding of theoretical and legal principles and the acquisition of the skills to apply them in practice. These are the two things that this program offers and that will turn its students into the best professionals.
